Welcome to Bikram Hot Yoga Brisbane

Bikram Yoga is the Original Authentic Hot Yoga in Brisbane.  At Bikram Hot Yoga Brisbane our hot yoga classes will benefit West, North, and Brisbane City residents.  The Therapeutic, Curative, Preventative , and overall Health Benefits of a Bikram Hot Yoga Class are practiced in a heated room, to promote cellular metabolism, detoxification, and suppleness of the muscular system.  The heated environment provides a greater level of safety whilst attempting the postures.  It is great for beginners.  Anybody can do it - any age, size, or condition.  The yoga postures are held still at maximum effort , not continuous movement, a primary principle of Hatha Yoga (Asana)

At our Bikram Yoga Studio in Bardon our teachers are trained that the first emphasis be on the correctness and safety of the postures, a Bikram Class is very challenging and you will have to make demands of yourself.  It requires tremendous concentration, determination, trust, patience and discipline.  As these are required of you, they will also develop and grow within you.

The Benefits of Our Hot Yoga Class

The Bikram technique is a very specific prescription of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in 38 degC 50% humidity.  All postures are performed twice to allow a self diagnostic function check in the first set and a more therapeutic application in the second set.  The advantages of practicing Hatha Yoga in this way allows for a deeper connection between mind and body.  Other advantages that can be attained by attending our yoga classes in Brisbane:

From the City to North and West Brisbane

Our teachers are certified by a 9 week training standard as a bare minimum.  All yoga instructors at Bikram Yoga Brisbane have a collective teaching experience of over 10k hours and are based in Bardon.  You are free to attend class on a casual basis or purchase one of our packages online or at the yoga studio.  Our staff at the desk will make you feel welcome and comfortable if you are new to the practice of yoga.
